The
importance of a strong corporate social responsibility
paradigm is clear to any successful company, especially
to one such as Wilcon. As the company provides the means
for people to build their homes through its
comprehensive range of products, so does it help the
disenfranchised and the disaster-stricken to rebuild
their lives. |

Throughout the years, it has always been Wilcon's
principle to share and help others through donations
without expecting anything in return. The company helped
thousands of people in Metro Manila and in Infanta,
Quezon who lost their properties and families because of
Typhoons Ondoy and Reming. Wilcon took part in the
relief and rehabilitation programs organized by the
government. |

Every Christmas season,
Wilcon hosts a party for a chosen orphanage, giving
cheer and hope to children. It has also helped
institutions like the Reception and Study Center and
Bantay Bata by donating money, books and other school
materials. Wilcon is also a part of the Department of
Education's adopt-a-school program. It has donated
tiles, sanitarywares and construction materials needed
for the construction of the washrooms of Bangsa Moro
School in Kidapawan City, Culiat High School in Quezon
City, and the Information and Communication Technology
High School in Pampanga. |

Wilcon sends alsmost a
hundred scholars to college through its WTB Foundation.
These efforts are only part of the full initiative that
the company has for helping people in need, whatever
their situation. With every year that passes, Wilcon
finds more ways to provide assistance, and to give back
to society. |
