It was a
fresh start for Wilcon Builder’s oldest branch.
Standing
strong for over three decades, Wilcon - Quezon Avenue
enjoyed a simple re-launch on May 22, 2009 nearly two months
after the fastidious first phase renovation.

phase of
its
renovation. The company is investing on the store’s
extensive revamp to maximize the opportunities in serving
the customers better.
Adapting to the style and setting of newly opened Wilcon
stores, it boasted more than just an improved look and
cozier ambiance. A bigger and definitely better – bigger
in size and offers better services – store awaits its
patrons and new customers. |

Now occupying a wider expanse, Wilcon – Quezon
Avenue proffers a broader repertoire of
home-building necessities plus a newly put-up Tile
Gallery that houses a large collection of
well-designed imported tiles.
Wilcon Builders’ climb to the peak of success began
in 1977. Mr. William Belo, |

founder and president, along with three employees
established the first Wilcon Builder’s Supply branch at a
60-sqm. area in the busy district of Quezon Avenue.
Fueled by passion, determination and knowledge; the little
hardware shop has grown and turned into a
construction-supply giant 31 years later. A chain of store
launches followed, coming to 19 operational outlets across
the metro and other strategic locations.

The success of Quezon Avenue branch has become not only a
fulfillment of then 26-year old visionary’s dream, but
also, the answer to builders and homeowners’ wish.
Having
been fully aware that home-building as well as improvement
are not seasonal, Wilcon Builders’ has homed in on
offering the finest home-building essentials in the local
market, contributing to the creation of contemporary and
pioneering edifices.
Striving to offer the three C’s – consumer-friendly
services, completeness and cost-effective products – to
more consumers; Wilcon is geared toward continuous
expansions.

While
its forays in the north have been successful, Wilcon
depots will soon rise in Laguna, Batangas and Taytay,
where construction particularly housing projects are
flourishing.
Likewise, having been in a stand-alone retailing since its
inception, the 32-year old home improvement center will
have its first mall-based outlet at Marquee Mall in
Angeles, Pampanga. |
Wilcon is considering all these expansions in line with
its ultimate goal to help build the future. |
