Rules and Regulation

I. The Design Competition
    Objective: To design innovative living environment
    Theme: Eco-Friendly Designs for a Greener Tomorrow

    1. Category I-Professional
        - All registered licensed interior designers/architects
        -Must be a member of PIID
        -No age limit
        -Category II-Student
        -Open to all students of interior design in all schools and universities in the
         Philippines offering BSID program.
       -18 y/o and above

     3. Entry form must be signed by the department chair or school head, or PIID
         Director for competition.

     4. All entry form should include an affidavit as required.

III. Presentation Requirements
Design Rationale of not more than 200 words typewritten-double spaced-regular
sized bond paper
Drawings: (Manual or AutoCAD presentation)
In tracing paper mounted in illustration board/foam board, ink.
Scale: 1:50, 15"x20" board

Scaled Floor Plan-w/Furniture and Fixtures lay-out
Reflected Ceiling Plan-w/lighting Lay-out
Wall Elevation-w/window and wall treatment
3. Rendered interior perspective-scale 1:30 (15"20" board ) (manual rendition)
4. Image and color board with actual swatches of materials.
5. Designs should use all furniture and fixtures available in Wilcon stores.
    Note: Furniture may be customized.

Submission Mechanics
1. Entries may be submitted to all Wilcon outlets nationwide (deadline is April 30, 2009). Outlets are Libis at E. Rodriguez Jr.,  Ugong Norte, Libis, Q. C.; Las Piñas at Alabang Zapote Rd. Las Piñas; Balintawak at EDSA Balintawak, Q. C.; Pasong Tamo at Pasong Tamo, Makati; Quirino at Mindanao Ave., Brgy. Talipapa, Q. C.: Filinvest Alabang at Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa; Muñoz at EDSA Balintawak, Quezon City; Libis at E. Rodriguez Jr., Bagumbayan, Q. C.; Fairview; Sucat., Parañaque; Dau Mabalacat Pampanga; Mexico Pampanga; San Rafael Tarlac; Davao at Matina, Davao City. Entries sent to Wilcon via the standard registered package or by courier must be postmarked by April 30, 2009. For inquiries, call 634-8387.

2. All entries must be properly labeled with the following
   -Professional or Student
   -Category (Bathroom & Toilet, Living Room, Bedroom)
   -Designated Application Number indicated in the registration form
   -Date of Submission
3. All participants must submit the following documents
   -Brief curriculum vitae/bio-data
   -Three (3) 2"x2" colored ID photos with the applicants name on the back
   -Certification from school or from PIID that participant is duly enrolled in his/her school
    or is a current memebr of PIID.
4. Participants may submit one entry in all categories.
5. Contest is free.
6. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations shall automatically disqualify the
    participant.
7. Wilcon Builders shall execute the winning designs supervised by the winning
    participants.

Prizes

1. For the Professional group:
    First Prize     :   P120,000.00 and a trophy
    Second Prize:   P  80,000.00 and a trophy
    Third Prize    :   P  50,000.00 and a trophy

One (1) finalist will receive P10,000.00 Wilcon Gift Certificates.

2. For the Student group:
    First Prize     :   P40,000.00 and a trophy
    Second Prize:   P25,000.00 and a trophy
    Third Prize    :   P15,000.00 and a trophy

One (1) finalist will receive P10,000.00 Wilcon Gift Certificates.

3. The winning entries shall be executed and exhibited by Wilcon in its Libis depot, using
    products only at Wilcon Builders. The winners shall supervise the 2-month
    construction of the winning designs and shall receive a supervision fee of P20,000.00
    for the professional group and P10,000.00 for the student group.
4. Non-winning entries can be retrieved by the participant or his duly representative
    immediately after the announcement of winners. Entries not retrieved after 30 days
    will become the property of Wilcon.
5. Wilcon Builders Depot reserves the right to execute the winning design entries for
    any and all legal purposes.
   
    All decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and cannot be appealed.
